DENKENDORF - The German Institute of Textile and Fibre Research (DITF) is working to scale the production of polyester from captured industrial CO2 emissions.

DITF is working on upscaling the production of monoethylene glycol (MEG) for polyester as part of the €22 million Threading CO2 project announced earlier this year.

The EU collaborative project, under the leadership of French company Fairbrics, involves 13 partners from seven countries seeking to produce polyester from CO2 emissions.
