BUSAN – A Korean conductive materials supplier has unveiled a completely washable, rechargeable and flexible battery unit for functional fabrics applications, which can reportedly produce up to five times more power than current conventional wearable batteries. The lithium-ion ‘J-Flex’ battery from Busan-based Jenax has a reported capacity of 2,5000mAh, and was recently launched at January's annual Wearable Technologies Conference in Munich and at the Wearable Expo exhibition in Tokyo.
