MASSACHUSETTS – Sports giant, Nike, has filed a patent infringement action against Puma alleging that the rival brand has infringed on seven of its utility patents which relate to Nike Flyknit, Air and its cleat assembly technologies.
Nike has “invested heavily in research, design and development” and “Puma has forgone innovation and is instead using Nike’s technologies without permission,” the company says.
