NEW SOUTH WALES – An Australian inventor is seeking partners to commercialise a shark bite-resistant wetsuit developed to alleviate fear across the country and around the world.
The wetsuit leverages SharkStop technology which encompasses adaptations to market standard neoprene rubber. In principle, it’s thought that by mitigating the potentially life threatening strikes of a shark by lessening the chances of blood loss, the predator will lose interest in the victim and more time will be bought for medical intervention.
