BRUSSELS – Industry authority Euratex has developed and will execute five initiatives as it looks to “guide the [apparel] sector to its renaissance.”
The European organisation recognises just how integral the fashion and textile industries have been amidst the coronavirus pandemic, not least with how it radically increased production volumes of personal protective equipment (PPE) when first responders needed them most.
“This crisis showed the importance of our industry and now, more than ever, it’s essential to develop the competitiveness of the European ecosystem,” said Alberto Paccanelli, who has been re-elected Euratex president.
