FRIEDERICHSHAFEN – A number of functional and performance garment innovations have been commended for their unique and potentially game-changing designs at the ‘OutDoor Industry Awards 2016’ ceremony, which took place during this week’s OutDoor exhibition in Germany. The awards included prizes for developments from the likes of Berghaus, Stoll, Mammut and Adidas.
Following a two-day panel session in Friedrichshafen, judges decided on 37 exhibiting products to receive an award. Show organisers say that the judges were so impressed by eight of these products that each were given a ‘Gold Award’ for their outstanding innovations.
