LEEDS – Future Fashion Factory (FFF), the UK initiative vying to accelerate the British textile industry’s implementation of digital processing technologies, has outlined nine firms which will be the recipients of funding for projects aimed at overcoming various technical challenges facing them.
After a round of funding which totalled £5.4 million, the FFF has selected to support nine R&D projects which will benefit from a shared £645,000. This, to keep pace with global apparel markets which, too, are looking to capitalise on the benefits of integrating automated, digital solutions.
