ATLANTA – Visitors to the forthcoming Techtextil North America exhibition to be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from 3 – 5 May will be able to choose from over 30 seminars from acknowledged experts on technical textiles.
The trade show organiser Messe Frankfurt says during the three day technical textile event visitors can participate in 10 hot topic sessions plus two bonus sessions put on by IAF and a joint session hosted by Techtextil North America, Texprocess Americas and concurrent show JEC Americas.
Presentation highlights talks on tension structures, textile testing and advances in nonwovens technology. Other sessions include advances in textile fibre technologies such as nanofibres and carbon fibres, auxetic materials, protective textiles and geosynthetics. Stitch free seaming technology and a session on sustainability will also feature.
The seminar programme has been developed by respected industry experts on technical textiles including: Dr Behnam Pourdeyhimi, The Nonwovens Institute; Mike Clements, Huesker, Inc; Sam Buff, Gaston College; Bipin Kumar, UC Davis; Marc Shellshear, Gale Pacific, Inc.; and Dr. Andy Griffin, Professor Emeritus at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
