IOWA – A team of researchers at Iowa state University say they have developed chemical protective clothing to protect workers from potential occupational hazards. Professor in Textiles and Clothing, Gwowen Song led the team and says the research has developed enhancements for chemical suits and firefighter’s uniforms, designed to protect workers from biological and chemical substances.
