MASSACHUSETTS – Students involved in a workshop held in collaboration between the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA) initiative have developed two smart clothing concepts.
The six students; three of which are from FIT and the others from MIT, developed prototypes for colour changing apparel and a multifunctional apron with interchangeable pockets.
