MASSACHUSETTS – The Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA) institute has announced that it will adopt PTC’s FlexPLM product lifecycle management technology going forward.
AFFOA, headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, also oversees the Pennsylvania Fabric Discovery Center at Drexel University and works to accelerate innovation in smart textiles.
Looking ahead, the organisation insists PTC’s solution is best suited to supporting its research and so will replace existing systems as a tool both for internal collaboration and external data sharing.
