GOTHENBURG - Researchers at a Swedish University say they have discovered that coating silk thread with a conductive plastic material could turn garments into electricity charging stations.

Scientists at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg say it could lead to clothing capable of monitoring the health of the wearer or charging mobile phones without the need for batteries.
