WAKAYAMA – Japan-based v-bed knitting machine builder Shima Seiki's latest flagship machine, the MACH2XS123, which features the company's original SlideNeedle on four needle beds for making one-piece knitted apparel is now equipped with a new spring-type moveable sinker system. This is the first time this moveable sinker has appeared on a 4-needlebed Shima WholeGarment machine to give a significant improvement in fabric quality for complicated patterns while dimensional fabrics and flechage can be knit with ease.
