CAIRO - A joint venture between Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone and Chinese industrial developer TEDA-Egypt is to construct a new textile factory which will aim to produce environment-friendly fabrics and garments using a range of smart manufacturing methods.
Established in 2008 as part of China’s Belt and Road imitative, TEDA Egypt operates a seven square kilometre site in the Suez Canal economic region.
