ATLANTA – German textile finishing machinery specialist Monforts has launched a new wide-width 'Montex XXL' stenter, which is set to be showcased at the upcoming Techtextil North America exhibition. The stenter has a ultra-wide 7m working width and uses a compact, air-to-air heat exchanger, which is installed within its roof structure. This uses energy from the exhaust gas to preheat up to 60 per cent of the incoming fresh air entering the stenter, which can provide energy savings of 10 – 35 per cent.
