ISTANBUL – Turkish textile innovator Twines Tekstil has developed a new reusable facemask, treated with its SilverGuard-branded antimicrobial treatment.
The personal protective equipment (PPE) has been ‘COVID-19 approved’ by Belgium-based Centexbel’s laboratory and will be targeted towards healthcare professionals.
“Our SilverGuard masks that we developed at our technology centres in Germany and Turkey has demonstrated its performance brilliance in eliminating the pathogens and safeguarding the wearer from possible attacks,” commented Twines’ Prasad Subramanya.
